Concorde

The Concorde was a supersonic passenger jet developed jointly by Britain and France. Entering service in 1976, it could fly at more than twice the speed of sound, cutting transatlantic flight times to around three and a half hours. With its slender delta wing and distinctive drooping nose, Concorde became an icon of advanced aerospace engineering and luxury travel. Despite its technological success, high operating costs and limited routes led to its retirement in 2003, leaving it as a symbol of an era when speed was the ultimate ambition in commercial aviation.
