Stealth Fighter (Concept)
The F-19 was a fictional stealth fighter born from speculation during the late 1970s and 1980s. When the U.S. Air Force skipped the F-19 designation, many assumed it referred to a highly secret aircraft. This belief grew as rumors spread about an advanced stealth fighter hidden in classified programs. In reality, the true stealth aircraft was the F-117 Nighthawk, whose unusual designation was intentionally misleading. Media, magazines, model companies, and video games popularized the imagined F-19 with invented designs. Over time, it became one of the most famous aircraft that never actually existed.
