About MM-GURU

Hello everyone, and welcome to MM-GURU! This site was created out of a simple need: to give Micro Machines collectors a genuinely useful resource by merging a model catalog with blister packaging details. We’re not pretentious enough to claim a 100% complete database, but our aim is clear—finally make it easy to identify each model’s set (and vice versa).

MM-GURU was born from an idea by Marco Antonio Brambilla. During the long COVID pandemic, he created – almost for fun – a small database on his computer and phone to help manage his collection. Using this tool, he realized how valuable it would be for him and for collectors everywhere to have a much larger and more complete archive – one where every model could be found, identified, and traced back to its original set. A few years later, thanks to his encounter with Angela DeZign, this idea finally became a reality: a free resource available to collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the small yet fascinating world of Micro Machines.

A huge thank you goes to Joe — probably the greatest Micro Machines collector in the world — for allowing me to use his photos. They add incredible value and authenticity to this website!

Marco Antonio

I was born in 1977, and for my tenth birthday I received my first Micro Machines set: the 1987 Off-Road collection—known in Italy as “Potenza e Avventura.” In the years that followed, my Micro Machines collection grew modestly but then stalled during my teenage years. It wasn’t until 2019 that I rediscovered them and truly embarked on dedicated collecting. By 2025, my collection had grown to over 3,500 vehicles and countless playsets—quite possibly making me Italy’s largest Jazwares Micro Machines collector. I typically list only my duplicate models for sale on Vinted.
