Caboose Type 2

The Caboose was a crew car traditionally attached to the end of a freight train. It served as a mobile office and living space for the conductor and brakemen, providing room for paperwork, equipment, and rest during long journeys. Easily recognized by its raised cupola or bay windows, the caboose remained a familiar sight on American railroads until the late 20th century.
