M7 Priest

The M7 Priest was an American self-propelled artillery vehicle used during World War II. Built on a modified M3 Lee tank chassis, it featured a 105mm howitzer mounted in an open-topped superstructure. Its nickname, “Priest,” came from the pulpit-like machine gun mount. The vehicle provided mobile fire support for infantry and armored units, combining strong firepower with good mobility on the battlefield.
