Suzuki GSX-R 1100

The Suzuki GSX-R 1100 of the 1980s was a landmark sport motorcycle that helped redefine the concept of a road-legal race bike. Introduced in 1986, it featured a powerful air-/oil-cooled inline-four engine, an aluminum frame, and aggressive, race-inspired styling. With its combination of brute power, relatively low weight, and sharp handling for the time, the GSX-R 1100 earned a reputation as a fast, demanding machine, aimed at experienced riders. Today it is considered an icon of the original “oil-cooled” GSX-R era and a symbol of 1980s superbike excess.
