The early 1980s GM full-size pickup, built on the long-running C/K platform, was designed with durability and practicality in mind. Its squared, angular body lines gave it a solid, unmistakable presence on the road, while the body-on-frame construction ensured real toughness under load. Buyers could choose between inline-six or V8 engines, along with two- or four-wheel drive configurations, depending on the job at hand. Inside, the cabin was simple and functional, built to withstand daily work rather than impress.
