The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing is one of the most recognizable sports cars ever built, known for its distinctive upward-opening doors and innovative engineering. Introduced in the 1950s, it combined lightweight construction, a powerful fuel-injected engine, and a sleek aerodynamic shape. Its gullwing doors became an instant icon, turning the 300 SL into a symbol of style, performance, and pioneering automotive design. The opening doors, hood, and trunk are extremely well made and move smoothly. The amount and quality of detail on this model are incredible. The raised Mercedes logos, the windows, and the engine under the hood are outstanding. Maybe the only flaw is the wheels, which are a bit too “chunky” compared to the real car.
