’80s Supra

The Toyota Supra Mk III, produced from 1986 to 1992, marked a major step forward for Toyota’s performance lineup. Built on the A70 platform, it featured sharp, angular styling typical of the late ’80s, along with pop-up headlights and a wide, muscular stance. Under the hood, the most notable version was the turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six (7M-GTE), delivering strong torque and smooth power delivery. Unlike later, more aggressive Supras, the Mk III focused on grand touring comfort, combining solid performance with a refined interior and advanced technology for its time.
