Tanker Trailer

The tanker trailer was a piece of farm equipment widely used to transport and spread liquid fertilizers. Towed by tractors, it consisted of a steel tank mounted on a tandem axle, built to handle heavy loads and rough fields. No electronics, no comfort—just pumps, valves, and hoses doing dirty work. It was slow, bulky, and essential: without it, fertilizing large areas efficiently was simply not possible. These trailers were designed to last, often surviving decades of hard use with little more than basic maintenance.
