Panzer 1

The Panzer I was a light German tank developed in the early 1930s and was one of the first armored vehicles used by Nazi Germany. Originally intended mainly as a training tank, it played an important role in helping Germany develop its armored warfare tactics before the Second World War. Armed with two 7.92 mm machine guns and protected by very light armor, the Panzer I was not designed for direct combat against other tanks. Nevertheless, it was used operationally during the Spanish Civil War and in the early stages of World War II, where it demonstrated the importance of mobility and coordination rather than firepower alone.
