Testarossa

The 1987 Ferrari Testarossa is one of the most recognizable supercars of its era, defined by its wide stance, sharp lines, and signature side strakes. Powered by a 4.9-liter flat-twelve engine, it delivered strong performance and a dramatic presence both on the road and in popular culture. Its distinctive styling and unmistakable silhouette have made the Testarossa a lasting symbol of 1980s automotive design. The amount and quality of detail on this model are incredible, such as the engine under the hood. Nonetheless, a mistake was made: in reality the front hood doesn’t open this way, but is hinged at the front between the headlights. Perhaps Galoob wasn’t able to reproduce this type of opening with acceptable aesthetic or functional results. And under the front hood, which is actually a trunk, there should be a spare wheel, not another engine like the model seems to show. The wheels are a bit too “chunky”, too.
