1940 Darrin

The 1940 Packard Darrin was a striking blend of luxury and custom craftsmanship. Designed by Howard “Dutch” Darrin and built on a Packard chassis, it stood out for its low, flowing lines, cut-down doors, and elegant convertible bodywork. The long hood and sweeping fenders gave it a dramatic, almost European look, while the powerful straight-eight engine delivered smooth performance. Produced in very limited numbers, the Packard Darrin remains one of the most distinctive American luxury cars of the pre-war era.
