PBY-5 Catalina

The PBY-5 Catalina was a long-range patrol bomber and flying boat widely used during World War II. Built for endurance rather than speed, it could stay airborne for over 15 hours, making it ideal for maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare, and search-and-rescue missions.
