M7 Priest

The M7 Priest was an American self-propelled artillery vehicle used during World War II. Built on a modified M3 Lee tank chassis, it featured a 105mm howitzer mounted in an open-topped superstructure. Its nickname, “Priest,” came from the pulpit-like machine gun mount. The vehicle provided mobile fire support for infantry and armored units, combining strong firepower with good mobility on the battlefield. The model in the photo is missing the upper turret machine gun; I’ll try to replace it with a complete one.
